South Asian Representation on Doctor Who!!!
OMGGGG yesss I love it. First of all.. Yasmin Khan played by Mandip Gill, absolutely brilliant to see a a major character of South Asian background. Doctor Who has been my favourite show since I was a little child and like I always wondered why there was such a lack of people who were like me. South Asians make up a large population of the UK yet we get barely any representation on major British shows/films. (Like we had Citizen Khan but like come on, a show based on stale jokes that 12 year olds would find funny and anyone older would find somewhat mildly amusing and not to mention itโs nowhere near as popular as Doctor Who is.) Anyways back to the point, the end credits that showed stuff coming soon was absolutely rich with diversity specifically what made me happy was the abundance South Asians in the casting, like wow. Also the fact that Doctor Who is an international show at this point too means GLOBAL represention for us. People (well those not from the UK) often overlook us Desi people and just assume Asian is just the Eastern parts, itโs nice to see that more people will be exposed. Well thatโs that,

Also Jodieโs acting as the Doctor is already great
